eVo Comtrade

eVo Comtrade is an independent fault recording system that provides:

• collection of all records from field equipment (fitted with fault record functions) in one database,
• controlled access to the database,
• multi-access to the system,
• data storage,
• possibility to import recorded files and data from sources not connected to the system.

A primary function of the system is reading of fault records on regular basis from internal recorders in protections and other devices, and their storage in the original database.

All records created in internal recorders of protections or other devices at the power generating plant, are automatically (without any action from the staff) and regularly transmitted to the system database (with time stamps assigned by protections), described with a switchgear number, a name and a number of a feeder, a name of the original source, etc..

The access to the recording system database is possible from a dedicated fault analysis application.

Main functions of the application are:

• Placing records from various sources on a common time axis 
• Creation of record sequences and groups with various sampling rates
• Extensive possibilities of information filtering acc. to a specific criterion (time, plant, weight, etc.)
• Use of absolute and relative time
• Access to a wide range set of mathematical functions
• Unlimited number of data sources (analogue and digital inputs) 
• Assignment of authorization for access to the database
• Possible redundancy of the database
